Working draft · pending legal review · last updated 26 August 2026

This is a plain description of what Atelyz does with your data today, written from how the product is actually built. It will be replaced by a reviewed policy; until then, what it says is what happens.

What we collect

  • Account — your email address, name, and password (hashed by Supabase Auth; we never see it), plus the profile details you choose to fill in.
  • Wardrobe — the photos of clothing you upload or import from a product link, the cropped/cut-out versions we generate from them, and the labels (category, colour, notes) attached to each item.
  • Stylist activity — if you book a stylist or apply to be one: booking details, the messages exchanged in a booking chat, and the profile information stylists submit (including an Instagram handle, if given).
  • Usage — anonymous page-view analytics via Vercel Analytics, and server logs needed to keep the service running.

Where it lives

  • Supabase holds account, profile, wardrobe metadata, bookings, and chat.
  • Cloudflare R2 holds image files — your uploaded photos and the processed versions.
  • Photos are sent to our own image-processing service to isolate the garment from the background. That service does not keep them after processing.
  • Transactional email (account, booking, and support notices) is sent from vishal@atelyz.com.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not share your photos with advertisers or train third-party models on them.
  • We do not show your wardrobe to anyone but you. In a booking chat, a stylist sees only the individual items you explicitly choose to share with them.

Deleting your data

Email support@atelyz.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account, wardrobe, and images. Self-serve deletion from inside the app is planned; until then this inbox is the route.
